Everyone surviving?

Dearest 4G,

How is everyone coping with primary 5 work? I did not lie when I said things are going to get very difficult, did I? I hope all of you are fine and are fitting well into your new class, new class system, new teachers and new friends, of course.

Most of you should know by now I'm teaching 4K this year. A lot of things that I have trained you to do, I have started to take for granted and I get a rude shock when I realize that my class this year cannot achieve my high standards yet. I think they must be tired of hearing me say: My class last year can.... why can't you.... =p Maybe I should lower my expectations now and retrain my pupils to read my mood, do my corrections properly, etc etc. Sigh.

Anyway, Joey and Wani have been talking about organizing a class gathering. Sigh. These 2 monkeys are waiting for me to initiate right?! Well, maybe we can have a BBQ of some sort at someone's place? Anyone can volunteer your house? Haha. Keep me posted. It will be nice to meet up as 4G again. Missed you kiddos.

Take care, all of you. I shall not nag anymore. Remember to do your homework, pay attention in class and study hard!

Lots of love,
Ms Lye

How is everyone?

Dear 4G,

How is everyone in year 2007? I am sure you are excited about your new teachers, classmates and new things that you will be learning in class. All of you must put in effort in your work and continue to work hard!! I hope the manners and values that I have taught you have not been forgotten. I would feel really proud of you if teachers come to me and say that you have been behaving and well-mannered.

Anyway, do not hesitate to approach me even if I'm not teaching you anymore. I will be glad to be any help to you, be it a listening ear or a helping hand. Take care, kids. You will always be remembered as my precious 4gians of 2006.

Love,
Ms Lye

Oh, about the dance competition, I missed the deadline for registration. Really sorry about it. Be reassured that I will definitely approach you my old dancers if I need to do another dance competition. Sorry for giving you false hopes this time round. Promise the next one will work out. =P

Jia Wei and his beautiful earrings.

Dance competition at United Square. Though we only got consolation prize, in my opinion, I think they did a fantastic job.

YESCOM prize presentation. We came in 8th. Commendable acheivement, considering that this is our first time taking part. Good job, kids!

Dear 4G,

Here are the photos as promised. hehe. Old people tend to take a little longer sorting things out. =p

The answer is...

All right, I admit, this is long overdue. heh.

If you take a closer look, you should be able to spot a man riding on a donkey. Its a natural sight spotted on one of the mountains in Guilin. Very beautiful right?
